Template:Character Sunki Udono (鵜殿すんき, Udono Sunki) is a character in Barjona Bombers and part of the original cast of the series. He attends Barjona Marine High School.

Appearance

Sunki has scruffy dark hair and unusually thick eyebrows, a trait that he shares with Kalom. He wears the standard Barjona boys' uniform, consisting of a white shirt, teal vest and matching slacks.

Profile

A master swordsman, Sunki used to be in the kendo club at Barjona until a leg injury forced him to quit (and become reliant on crutches). He has the polite personality and speech of an old-fashioned warrior, but is naive in some aspects. He's not very good at writing in English and hates doing so.

His pet cormorant is named Mino.

Relationships

Noto Kanazawa

Main article: Noto Kanazawa

Sunki is the best-known of Noto's victims, having been kidnapped and fitted with dog ears and a collar as his slave in the comics. He was also subjected to having profane messages written on his boxers, and actually being made to act as Noto's "dog", even literally appearing as a dog version of himself in several strips.

He is also the first victim of the Noto-sama game series, where Noto puts him through various uncomfortable situations, including having a fishstick shoved into his mouth and the photos of the act manipulated so that it resembles a pornographic one.

He's notable for being the least resistant and most accepting of the Noto-sama victims when it comes to the harassment.

Trivia

  • Oddly, Sunki's surname does not seem to derive from any place in Gifu, but one in Mie Prefecture instead (the Udono village).
