Suzuka Akafuku (赤福鈴鹿, Akafuku Suzuka) is a character in the series Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club.

Appearance

Suzuka's appearance at the start of the series is that of a ninja. Though he wears the standard boys' school uniform (a white uniform shirt and blue slacks), he keeps his face obscured with a black mask from which only his eyes are clearly visible. When unmasked, he is shown to have wild red hair.

After the comics changed to reflect the Kitakou Pure game, Suzuka was seen more often without his mask. His second school uniform consisted of a pair of burgundy slacks, a dark shirt worn under his white uniform shirt, and a long brown scarf.

He continued to appear this way until the '07 Kitakou stories, which put him back in the original school uniform and his mask.

Profile

Suzuka is a third year and the president of the broadcasting club (and in the electronics department), though it is hard for most people outside of the club to understand his speech, due to the fact that he speaks in a special "ninja language" and is masked, making nnph nnph and nee sounds. But when he is relaxed or excited, his speech changes to that of a Kansai dialect.

He acts as an older brother to the others and is quite lively and honest, contrary to his ninja appearance. It is said that he also hates ninjutsu. His dog's name is "Pochiru-Angelica".

Relationships

To come.

Trivia

  • Like the other Kitayume characters, Suzuka's full name is a pun off of the prefecture that he is modeled after. Suzuka is a city in the Mie Prefecture while akafuku is a type of mochi made with sweet red bean paste that the prefecture is famous for.
